I am currently on the job market.
I received a Ph.D. in Agricultural, Environmental, and Regional Economics from the Pennsylvania State University in December 2017.
Currently, I am affiliated with the program for coupled human and earth systems (PCHES) as a postdoctoral scholar at the Earth and Environmental Systems Institute (EESI) at Penn State.
My broad research and teaching interests are in the areas of environmental and resource economics, public policy, welfare analysis, law and economics, adaptation to climate change, and health.
I am particularly interested in the analysis of water resource availability and its management using market-based mechanisms. In my most recent projects, I assess the efficiency of water allocation in the western U.S., analyze the welfare gains from transferring water rights between different uses, and examine the influence of institutional characteristics in determining the effectiveness of water reallocation.
